Hitched: A Chic Winter Downtown Wedding

We’ve reached that delightful time of year when the holiday hubbub is behind us, yet we’re nestled into our cozy homes as the snow falls and the chilly temperatures hover. Spring is inching closer and couples are dreaming up cheery springtime celebrations, but still savoring winter. Today’s hitched feature is a wonderful cross between a chic urban wedding with crisp winter hues and elements {like nude birch branches and warm milk glass candles aglow} and a dream rosette-studded gown, kale bouquets and fresh purple details. Enjoy!

We’re loving the sweet touches of Dusty Miller against the purple kale. It’s reminiscent of springtime and juxtaposed against the bare wintry branches scattered about. Hints of baby’s breath atop ceremony seats is a welcomed touch.

The blushing bride’s dress was Wallis by Melissa Sweet from Priscilla of Boston, and its detailed rosettes are so dreamy. Her appliqued sash was frosting on her gorgeous wedding dress confection!
