Married! A Charming Garden-Inspired Wedding

The rain began to fall in Western Washington this weekend and, while we enjoyed every ounce of coziness, we’re daydreaming just a bit of springtime and all that brings: fresh blooms, outdoor gatherings and delightful weddings… today’s Virginia wedding is the perfect anecdote to our spring fever. Enjoy!

From Marie Stills Photography: Lisa and Jon’s wedding took place at the Historic White Hall Manor, with gorgeous deep purples and the rustic backdrop of Virginia horse country, this was a beautiful wedding. The ceremony took place outside lined with wrought iron torches and overlooking the rolling Virginia mountains complete with an amazing live music. White Hall offers crumbly barns and amazing backdrops for the formals and then the intimate reception took place inside the manor.

Tulips have long been a favorite of Aleah’s {they bring back memories of visiting the tulip fields in the Northwest with her mom and grandma – oh, reminds me that we should do that again this coming spring!}, and the gentle use of this charming sherbet tone is perfect. When we see such a lovely bloom standing on their own in such a darling setting it’s just perfect, don’t you think?

Sherbet and lavender…could there be a lovelier combination?
